Key Features of the iPhone 7

With the iPhone 7’s release date constantly being hinted at by Apple, I think it is safe to assume that it will be released sometime in the upcoming months. In the past, with new iPhone models the physical appearance of the device has only been changed slightly. Whether it be shape, colour, or even the charger port being changed, there have never been any major changes to the appearance of the iPhone. That is until now. There have been hundreds of rumours regarding the iPhone 7, although only a few have proven true. With that in mind, let’s jump right in and take a look at some of the key features which the iPhone 7 will surely hold.

The Features

1. The Camera. While only a small change to previous models, the camera is going to be changing. In the past, iPhones have had their cameras flat on the device. However, with the iPhone 7 the back camera will be slightly elevated from the rest of the device. While not a very significant change, it’s certainly an interesting one.

2. USB / Charging Port. When Apple changed their new device’s to have a smaller and slimmer port to be charged, everyone freaked. Don’t worry though! With the iPhone 7, no changes are going to be made to the USB / charging port and it will remain with the most up to date port.

3. The Home Button. On the iPhone 7, the new home button is to be made noticeably smaller. Some people may like this due to having a bigger display and thus more space, although a lot of us enjoy having a big home button!

4. Headphone Jack. This is definitely one of the more worry-some features which people have been frantically upset about on social media. Many reports have indicated that with the iPhone 7, there will no longer be a headphone jack on the device. “Does this mean that we have to listen to our music without headphones?”, comes to mind. But that won’t be the case so don’t worry! In replacement to the usual headphone jack will be enhanced Bluetooth placement. In the past Bluetooth has not played a significant part in iPhones, but with the iPhone 7 that is soon to change.

5.iOS 10. With the release of the iPhone 7, iOS 10 is expected to be launch. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of solid details regarding iOS 10 and its release, although you can find some of the changes below.

Resistance. The last feature we’re going to discuss is the resistance of the iPhone 7. With it will come water proofing along with a stronger screen to prevent smashing. This will further prevent damage to your iPhone!
